The musical equivalent of reading “Treasure Island,” Night Watch Paradox brings the audience along on a participatory journey of musical performance and storytelling as they travel in their imaginary, steam-powered airship through time and space.
The panel begins with an introduction into basic electronic tools and techniques. The remainder of the panel focuses on repurposing electronics from inexpensive toys and decorations to add LED lights and easily-programmed LED arrays to props and costumes.
Repurposing odds and ends of jewelry into steampunk pins, barrettes and other accessories. Tools and some supplies will be provided. Participants may also bring their own treasures to recycle.
