Load In

    • A detailed map of entry is at this link>
      • Sponsors
        • Sponsors may come in on Friday (4/19) from 5p-9p for set up.
        • Please note:  Arrivals after 9p MUST be addressed prior to that day by emailing [email protected].  We do have the pre-event also going on in the lounge that Kolleen and I have to attend.
      • Everyone else
        • Doors will open at 7a.m. on Saturday (4/20).
    • This year’s venue has everything on one floor (no more steep ramps or elevators!) – however we are again requesting that you unload your vehicle, get it to your spot, and move your vehicle as quickly as possible to allow everyone the chance to get loaded in.
  • Anyone who tries to enter after 10 am on Saturday (4/20) will be turned away with no refund.
  • Booth Set up.
    • The areas will be clearly marked for each booth.  Your information packet containing vendor passes, program, and additional information will be in your booth space.
    • Please stop by the main registration desk to check-in prior to going to your area for set up.
    • Please stay within the boundaries of your booth area and do not spread outwards.  The booth spaces will be clearly marked.
    • No pop-up style tents are allowed in the vending room.
    • Please remember that you are responsible for providing your own tables, coverings, and chairs.
    • The setup of your spaces should be ready for customers 10:30am.  This is especially true for the hallway area as you are the first ones the guests will see.

Pack Out

  • Telltale Steampunk Festival ends at 5p on Sunday.  We are deliberately scheduling interesting things later in the day on Sunday.  We are asking that everyone wait until the end of the show to pack out.  We do understand that everyone wants to get on the road as soon as possible, however it looks very bad to patrons/guests if they see the vendors pulling early.
    • If it is determined that pack out can start earlier, either Kolleen or Donna will come to the vendor room to advise everyone.  Should this change, either Kolleen or Donna will personally come by your booth and advise of this.

Table Sitters

  • At this time, we are working out a way to have a booth sitter come by and cover for you when you need a bit of a break. This is not a guarantee at this point, but we do understand how difficult it can be to work alone.

Vendor Passes

  • Each booth has two complimentary wrist bands for the event.  If you need more, please contact us and we can provide a code to purchase additional passes.  This is limited to 2 additional passes per booth.  This must be done prior to the event.
  • Vendor passes cover all events at Telltale except the Workshops.  If you are interested in attending the workshops, please use the links available on the website.

Vendor Room Hours

  • Saturday 11a-7p, Sunday 11a-5p
    • The Registration Desk will open at 10:30a to guests.  This allows guests/patron to be on the floor ready for when the Vendor Room opens.
    • Closing early on Saturday is up to you – however we ask that this not be done before 5p.
  • The room will be secured for the night at 7p.  Please note, no one will be allowed in the room after hours.
  • The vendor room will open at 10a.m. on Sunday morning for Vendors Only.

Silent Auction

  • If you choose to participate, please have your items and form at the registration table no later than 9am on Saturday morning.
  • Please take a few minutes to fill out the form that will be available in your registration packet.

Harassment

  • Telltale Steampunk Festival will not tolerate harassment in any form – by either vendors/patrons/performers/panelists.
  • The EEOC states the following:
  • Examples of harassment include offensive or derogatory jokes, racial or ethnic slurs, pressure for dates or sexual favors, unwelcome comments about a person’s religion or religious garments, or offensive graffiti, cartoons, or pictures.
  • The laws enforced by EEOC do not prohibit simple teasing, offhand comments, or isolated incidents that are not very serious.
  • Some additional examples could include:
  • A patron that will not leave your area and feels threatening in manner, speech, or actions.
  • A vendor who persistently “invades” your area and actively appears to be moving the customers to their booth and away from yours (sometimes referred to as “poaching”)
  • If you feel that you are being harassed in any way, please let inform Kolleen, Donna or the front desk so we can take whatever measures might be required. (If we don’t know about it, we can’t help you!)
