Panels & workshops

Workshop & Panel Guidelines

  • All workshops and panels are scheduled for one hour. If you require additional time, please indicate this in the notes section of your application.
  • Set-up and breakdown time is built into the schedule and does not count toward your hour.
  • Submitting a form does not guarantee acceptance. Space and time slots are limited. You will be notified of your acceptance status no later than three months before the event.
  • All panelists are required to purchase a ticket to attend, unless prior arrangements have been made with the show runners.
  • Promotion Materials: Panelists should be prepared to provide imagery and a fun, detailed description of their panel. All panels will be advertised and listed on our website as part of our promotional efforts.

Workshop Pre-Sales Information

Tell-Tale Steampunk actively promotes all workshops and works hard to help you sell as many tickets as possible. Tell-Tale Steampunk Festival can not guarantee any level of attendance for workshops. We ask that if chosen for a workshop you provide an image to use for promotions. To support this, we offer an online pre-order system for your workshop. Here’s how it works:

  • We will list your workshop on our website and handle all online promotion.
  • A small handling fee will be added to the ticket price to cover online payment processing.
  • Prior to the event, we’ll provide you with a full list of pre-sale attendees.
  • You will receive your payment via PayPal within five days after the show concludes.

Workshops provide attendees with the opportunity to make and take an item with help from and expert. If you run a workshop you will provide attendees all the supplies and use of tools needed to make the item.
