Niche books are the kinds of stories that won’t often make the headlines. These are the books that some people love, but just don’t love enough to fully support. The stories that aren’t for everyone, but just the select few.
Niche books are often overlooked in the traditional publishing world. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. At it’s core, traditional publishing is a business, and we have to respect that part of business is making products that appeal to the vast majority of consumers. But just because a story doesn’t appeal to everyone doesn’t mean that those it does appeal to shouldn’t get the chance to read it.
At Our Corner Publishing, we aim to make a collective of independent authors and publishers that want to give the people what they want, even if no one else wants it. Our books are niche enough to not hit the tops of the charts, but we’re still going to do our best to put them on shelves.
